Cho found herself at the foot of the entrance; it was so beautiful outside. The warmth at the bottom of her stomach rose and spread through out her body and a small smile appeared across her lips. Now, more glad than ever that she had abadoned her work load in the common room. She could not resist the calling of nature. Taking her slow steps towards the lake, she wondered why it was so empty. If a Ravenclaw, such as herself would be outside, there should be no doubt the Hufflepuff and Gryffindors would be out making a ruckus. Well, not that she didn't mind the peaceful-ness and not that she had anything against the Hufflepuffs or Gryffindors - well, maybe a bit for the Gryffindor since they did harbor that boy, Harry Potter. And again, not that she did not like him. Harry was a sweet boy, growing into a man. She'd really liked him last year and for him to just...well, all he seemed to care was for that bushy [how she even lives on that hair is beyond her], frizified bookworm of a Granger. She'd like to say she was not jealous of her because she was and the way things had ended between the two of them, left her a bit sour. She still had a mind to talk to that kid, get everything straighten out like she always did with her ex's. She still wanted to be friends but till that talk, she was going to hold this grudge.

Nearly, taking herself by surprise when she found herself already at the lake. The water glistened with small diamonds on the surface. For a few moments, her life seemed bliss. Nothing matter, nothing to worry about. Life was no longer so simple. Everything seemed to need much consideration. She was graduating this year, and not knowing of her future, it unnerved her. She was suppose to know, afterall, she was suppose to be of the cleverest, smartest, brightest...she was a Ravenclaw. But not to know what the future might or should bring...it was unsettling.

Taking off her shoes and socks, she lay them by a tree, neatly. Walking barefoot, feeling the warm sand on her bare skin, sits on the edge; letting the tip of her toes soak in the coldness of the lake. Despite the weather around it, the water always seem to manage the below freezing tempature.

Letting out a soft sigh, she looks out into the lake...for once, letting herself forget her problems and just gaze at the natural beauty of mother nature.
