Win Holmes sat on the green grass with his back against the stands. He had his broom with him, though he had little intention of flying today. It was slightly windy, not good conditions. It was his first time on the pitch after finding out he'd made the house team again, and he was wondering what this year would be like. So far, Win did not know who else would be playing for his team this year.
The wind sifted through his dark hair, and through the perfect green grass. He picked up his broom, holding it between his fingers. Quidditch was his passion.

Nyx walked out to the pitch, wanting to sit somewhere and stare at the sky. It was such a clear and beautiful day that she just couldn't resist. As she neared the pitch, she noticed a Ravenclaw off in the distance. She decided to go up to him.
"Hello there," she said quite shyly; she wasn't much for small-talk.

"H'lo," Win said, looking up. He'd seen Nyx around before, but he didn't know her. He noticed the Ravenclaw emblem on her robed. "Ravenclaw?" he asked. "I didn't know you were in my house." Win paused. "I'm Win..7th year."

"Hello Win. My name is Nyx. Yeah, I'm in Ravenclaw. Same year as you." Nyx wasn't very good at small talk, she was more of the in-depth kind of thinker, bringing her thoughts out into words.
"So, nice to meet you." she said. "What brings you out to the pitch?
